Show’s on! The Calgary Home + Garden Show returns to the BMO Centre today and runs through until Sunday, March 3. Catch HGTV Canada’s Todd Talbot and Carson Arthur on the Home + Garden Stage presented by The Calgary Herald and Golden Acre. Along with over 550 trusted home and garden companies to choose from, the Calgary Home + Garden Show is your one-stop-shop for every home improvement project.
With so much to see and do, we’re here to help create your action plan before setting a single foot on the show floor. Here’s our checklist of insider tips and tricks to ensure you make the most of your visit to the Calgary Home + Garden Show.
Before heading to the BMO Centre, snag your tickets online. Skip the line-up and save yourself $2 by buying your tickets online.
Park It
If you’re driving, parking at Stampede Park is $15 per car, or you can park at any auxiliary lots surrounding Stampede Park. And that’s not all: the first 400 visitors to the show on Thursday and Friday will also get free parking with proof of ticket or ticket purchase so come to the show early to get those savings! Want to get a little crafty while you’re at the show? Stop by one of Pinnovate’s workshops and pick up a new skill. From boho wall hangings, to cookie decorating, to creating a Harry Potter house sign for the kids, we’ve got all your crafting needs covered. Workshops start at $55 per person. Visit DIY Living Space presented by Rust-Oleum and designed by Calgary’s own Hella Design Studio, which thoughtfully blends upscale touches with DIY creations. Then stop by the New York Loft Lounge designed by Rochelle Cote Interior Design which will transport you to the Upper East Side. If you’re looking to spruce up with some plants, stop by Fabulous Foliage presented by Golden Acre to learn how to care for plants and how to punctuate your place with greenery. These features are sure to light up your imagination and help you transform your home!
